La Bonne Intention (LBI) was a historic Guyanese sugar estate and distillery located on the East Bank of the Demerara River and produced rum until its closure in 1959.
While the physical distillery closed, the LBI marque was transferred to Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL), still produced on the inherited four-column Savalle Still at Diamond distillery, utilizing the original LBI recipe.
This LBI 2013 displays notes of cream fudge, nougat, roasted peanuts, chocolate, herbal and woody undertones.
All ageing is continental.
