Sherry Cask Whisky

Sherry cask whisky matures in casks that previously held sherry. Oloroso casks bring dried fruit, nuts, leather, and spices, Pedro Ximénez (PX) sweet raisins, fig, and chocolate, while Fino and Manzanilla are more about salt and almond. Because genuine sherry casks are scarce and expensive, sherry cask bottlings are among the most sought-after whiskies of all.
