Dictador Brand Rum Colombia

The Dictador brand combines old knowledge from Colombian distilleries with innovative European design and distinctive bottles. The company is already run by the third generation and has set itself the goal of conquering the European market with high-quality rum. That the product impresses not only with its beautiful appearance, but above all with its quality, is proven by the various awards the distillery has received in recent years.

Dictador has long since become one of the most popular rum brands among connoisseurs worldwide. Its high standards of quality are reflected in its many flavor nuances, which can fully develop during the at least 20-year aging period using the Solera method. With Dictador Rum, you embark on a taste journey to the white sandy beaches and palm trees of the Colombian Caribbean coast. Dictador stands for Colombian rum like no other brand from the South American country. The reason is not only the seductive deep-black bottle, which feels so solid and supple in the hand that you never want to put it down again. The reason is, of course, also this unique taste, which makes you believe Colombia packed all its treasures into the barrel. Dictador Solera 20 Rum achieves this by using Virgin Sugar Cane Honey instead of molasses, a thick sugarcane juice reminiscent of spiced honey. It is distilled partly in copper pot stills and partly in stainless steel columns, and then matured in the Solera system. Solera means that rums of different ages are blended together in a special process. However, Dictador does not list the oldest component on the bottle as is customary, but the average age. As a result, Dictador 20 actually contains rum aged up to 24 years in the bottle. A respectable age and a very long time to absorb the taste of Colombia.
