Nose aromas of vanilla, light fruit, and a touch of salt.

Palate juicy peaches in syrup, roasted almonds, salted caramel, and a pleasant maltiness round off the single malt.

Finish: spicy notes of ginger and oak with juicy pear notes and a touch of orange peel.

The Glen Scotia distillery is located on the Kintyre Peninsula, more precisely in Campbeltown. In 1832, the distillery was founded by Steward, Galbraith & Co. under the name Scotia Distillery and has since had an eventful history. 
With its lively setting and the rough Atlantic breeze, this coastal town has something magical about it. “Mull of Kintyre, oh mist rolling in from the sea, my desire is always to be here …” Paul McCartney sings of the wish to always remain on this peninsula. It is probably not only the mystical pull of the landscape that is a good reason for that - but also the unique single malt produced here.
