The Reunion Savanna 12 years is an exceptional rum, one of the CDIs we will still be talking about years from now – and because it is so magnificent. 180 bottles of it were specially bottled for Germany.

La Réunion is one of the French overseas departments, just like the two much better-known rum islands Guadeloupe and Martinique. One of the island's best-known rum producers: Savanna. This single cask bottling comes exactly from there.

Strong ester notes immediately indicate a High Ester rum. Powerful, intense fruit aromas and hints of cherry can be found both on the nose and on the palate. The 61,6 vol.-% are noticeable in the finish, but it can still be enjoyed excellently neat – especially because at the latest in the finish, intense coconut and light smoky notes emerge, making this liquid experience perfect and reminding connoisseurs of Jamaican Hampden bottlings.
