Springbank: The flagship is simply called Springbank – and is often referred to as "the maritime one" because of its legendary salty note. Lightly peated and distilled 2.5 times, this single malt was first bottled in 1828 and is now available in 10, 12, 15, 18 and 21-year-old expressions. Each individual bottling is a unique taste experience: in the 10-year-old edition, for example, the aroma plays with the taste of sweet fruit and honey and varies this inimitably with a fine peaty note. Perfectly balanced in flavor, with a deep yet unobtrusive malty nuance and a consistently present smoky note, this whisky finishes long and elegant. Cask Strength.
