The Plantation Single Cask Rums are limited editions of double-aged Haute Couture Rums. These fine spirits first mature in former Bourbon barrels in a tropical climate before receiving their finish in ex-Ferrand barrels made of French oak. This takes place in southwest France. Alexandre Gabriel, awarded the title of world's best Master Blender in 2012, always carefully selects the barrels for the second maturation. Most of them previously held wine, another spirit, or even beer. The type of barrel used is chosen individually depending on the rum to highlight its unique character. Only a few versions of Plantation rums are produced each year, making them true collectibles.
