Nose:  complex,  pear, cider, passion fruit, violet, port wine.

Palate:  Elegant, Maraschino, fresh mint.

Finish: Long, spicy, floral.

The Plantation Single Cask Rums are limited editions of double-aged Haute Couture Rums. The fine spirits first mature in former bourbon barrels in a tropical climate before receiving their finish in ex-Ferrand barrels made of French oak. This takes place in the southwest of France. Alexandre Gabriel, awarded the title of the world’s best Master Blender in 2012, always carefully selects the barrels for secondary maturation. They are usually filled beforehand with wine, another type of spirit, or even beer. The type of barrel used is chosen individually for each rum in order to highlight its unique character. Only a few versions of Plantation rums are produced each year, making them true collector's items.
