Macallan has been the flagship of Scotland’s Speyside since its official founding in 1824. The high-quality single malt whiskies from this cult distillery are based on special production and processing methods — including what are likely the smallest copper stills in the region. They give the new make spirit its characteristic aroma. However, only 16 percent of this is filled into casks. Because: only the finest “cut” is used at Macallan. Under the supervision of the “Master of Wood,” each individual cask is selected by hand. It is then bottled from the cask in its natural colour. Pear Almond Vanilla, 

The Macallan Classic Cut – Limited 2023 Edition is the seventh release in the limited annual series. It masterfully combines the sweet lightness from American bourbon casks with the depth and complexity of Macallan’s sherry seasoned oak casks. At a robust 50,3% vol., notes of juicy pear and lemon zest blend with creamy vanilla, delicate oak and almonds.
