A special release is the 2011 Vintage Calvados Double Cask, peated to 50 ppm as is typical for Kilchoman. Kilchoman is proud to be Scotland's only distillery presenting a single malt made from its own grown and malted barley. The Uniquely Islay series gives Kilchoman the opportunity to experiment with and showcase exceptional cask types. “So there are some really interesting cask types here which is something that we now specialize in a bit. We call them our Experimental Casks that we fill; all from different types of wine and spirits”, explains Anthony Wills, Kilchoman Founder and MD.
