Nose:  intense notes of ripe tropical fruits, vanilla, caramel, and fine Bourbon oak. There are also hints of candied citrus fruits, roasted nuts, and subtle spices.

Palate:  powerful, dense, and wonderfully complex. Sweet vanilla, caramel, and exotic fruits meet spicy oak, dark chocolate, fine leather notes, and delicate hints of fresh mint. Despite its high alcohol strength, the rum remains remarkably balanced and is wonderfully multifaceted.

Finish:  long, warming, and intense, shaped by dark chocolate, oak spice, and a pleasant, lingering sweetness – a Trinidad rum with great character and impressive presence.

Especially after a moment of rest in the glass, it retains its presence for a long time and reveals its complexity.

RumClub Private Selection Ed. 65 – Trinidad TDL 2010
This exceptional single cask rum was distilled at Trinidad Distillers Limited (TDL) in 2010 and matured for a total of 16 years in an ex-Bourbon cask made of American white oak.

Its maturation began under the tropical conditions of Trinidad, where it spent an impressive 14 years, developing its intense aroma profile. The cask was then transferred to Europe, where the rum received its final refinement for another two years in the continental climate.

The result is a Trinidad rum with great character, impressive intensity, and a bold aromatic profile. Despite its powerful cask strength of 68 % vol., the alcohol is superbly integrated and carries the complex aromas with remarkable elegance into the long finish.

As with all RumClub Private Selection bottlings, this cask was, of course, bottled without additives and at natural cask strength.

With a limited edition of just 395 bottles and an RRP of 79,- €, this bottling offers an exceptional price-to-enjoyment ratio and is sure to delight all Trinidad fans.
