An incomparable highlight of the art of whisky It is the fifth in a sensational limited-edition series: Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Port Dundas, crafted from extremely rare casks from the ghost distillery Port Dundas in Glasgow. Built in 1811, it grew to become one of Scotland's largest distilleries and shipped its distinctive whisky worldwide for almost 200 years before closing its doors in 2010. With casks from other ghost whiskies from the Cambus and Brora distilleries, which consistently produced unique single malts, Master Blender Emma Walker completed her Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare bottling. With her many years of experience, this first bottling as Master Blender is a truly unforgettable event.  A unique whisky from exclusive stocks From around 10 million casks of maturing single malts and grain whiskies from more than 29 distilleries across all four corners of Scotland, Johnnie Walker draws its stock. But only the best casks have the richness and character that, after the elaborate production of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, provide the incomparable depth of flavor for which it is so famous. Only one in 10,000 casks has these special qualities. This limited edition offers whisky lovers an insight into Johnnie Walker's exclusive stock and the opportunity to discover one of the rarest whiskies. An exclusive pleasure of exceptional character Master Blender Emma Walker has done everything to showcase the incredible expression of Port Dundas: she selected distinctive, long-aged whiskies from our stock to give the blend its fantastic depth. Creamy woody notes from Port Dundas weave around the vanilla and soft smoke of the ghost whiskies from Cambus and the original stocks of Brora. In addition, other very rare whiskies from Cameronbridge and Glenkinchie reveal notes of baked apples, while Clynelish, Dailuaine and Auchroisk shine with delicate aromas of peaches and berries.
