Nose: pronouncedly spicy, cinnamon, cloves, notes of pear and vanilla .
Palate : vegetal aromas, a little citrus, green grass, and honeydew melon.
Finish: woody and spicy.

This single-cask bottling matured for a full 8 years and comes from one of the country's most important distilleries, which can boast the largest stock of matured rums. The molasses used for production was distilled in a column still. Maturation took place 60% in the tropics and 40% on the continent.
