Kilchoman Port Casks Matured – Ruby Port Casks – Limited Edition 2024 100 % Fully Matured in Ruby Port Casks.  The Islay distillery Kilchoman is offering an exciting full cask maturation as its new autumn release, matured exclusively in Ruby Port casks, the youngest of which are six years old. Maturation in the Port wine casks gives the malt, known for its maritime peat smoke and light citrus sweetness, an additional intense sweetness of red berries, cinnamon, and figs. The limited edition comes with an alcohol content of 50 % vol. and offers a long-lasting smoky finish. 

The Islay distillery Kilchoman is launching an exciting full cask maturation as its autumn novelty. With Kilchoman Ruby Port Casks Matured, Kilchoman presents a new Limited Edition. The single malt matured 100% in Port wine casks and offers intense aromas of red berries, cinnamon, and figs – The whisky comes with an alcohol content of 50 % by volume. 

A very exciting piece of information about the second Limited Edition 2024 from the Kilchoman distillery has reached us towards the end of May. Kilchoman will present a Sauternes Cask full maturation, which is very rarely found on the market in this form. We have already received a sample and can confirm that, combined with the smoky Islay character and the extreme sweet wine note, an exceptional Kilchoman single malt has matured that will remain uniquely memorable. During the first presentation of the Sauternes, the edition shone during the Kilchoman European Tour and had an outstanding number of fans. Please refer to the email for the first information.
