Barley Cask Type: 55% Sherry, 35% Bourbon, 10% Rum Original
Nose: Bourbon, vanilla, salted caramel, spicy wood, charcoal.
Palate: soft, creamy, citrus notes, vanilla, earthy, tarry, mineral.
Finish: long, pleasant sweetness, delicate smoky note. A little salt.
This single malt whisky was distilled from barley grown on the Kintyre Peninsula, just a few miles from Springbank. The barley is then malted on the malting floors using traditional production methods before being turned into spirit, matured into whisky, and bottled on site, making it a 100% Campbeltown single malt.
Nose: Characteristically fruity from the outset, there are notes of papaya, mango and lemon on the nose, along with a subtle floral note.
Palate: The citrus element continues on the palate, combines with notes of manuka honey and pear drops. A salty, mineral note develops.
Finish: Soft peat smoke comes through in the finish to round off this dram.

Springbank: The flagship is simply called Springbank - and because of its legendary salty note, it is fondly referred to as "the Maritime." Lightly peated and distilled 2.5 times, this single malt was first bottled in 1828 and is now available in 10, 12, 15, 18, and 21-year-old expressions. Each individual bottling is a unique taste experience: in the 10-year-aged edition, for example, the aroma plays with the flavor of sweet fruit and honey, varying it in an inimitable way with a delicate peaty note. Perfectly balanced in flavor, with a deep yet unobtrusive malt nuance and an ever-present smoky note, this whisky has a long and elegant finish. Available at 46% vol. and cask strength.
