The Plantation Single Cask Rums are limited editions of double-aged Haute Couture Rums. These fine spirits first mature in former bourbon barrels in a tropical climate before receiving their finish in ex-Ferrand barrels made of French oak. This takes place in south-west France. Alexandre Gabriel, who was awarded the title of the world's best Master Blender in 2012, carefully selects the barrels for the secondary maturation every time. They usually previously held wine, another type of spirit, or even beer. The type of barrel used is chosen individually for each rum to highlight its unique character. Only a few versions of Plantation rums are produced each year, making them true collector's items.
