Glenscotia single malt scotch whisky festival 2021 Edition 10 years 0,7l 56,1% vol. Scotland, limited for Whisky Festival 2021 Campbeltown Bordeaux cask finish 10 years. On the occasion of the Campbeltown Malts Festival presented by Glen Scotia Distillery. 

Limited to 6000 bottles. 

The unpeated malt matured first in First Fill Bourbon Casks to reflect the typically maritime character of the Glen Scotia Distillery. Under the direction of Iain McAlister, the Festival Edition 2021 received its finish for five months in First Fill Bordeaux Casks from the renowned wine region of Médoc. The result: the perfect balance between the red fruits from the wine casks and the classic fruit, spice, and maritime notes for which Glen Scotia is so famous. The single malt was bottled at cask strength with 56,1% Vol.

The Glen Scotia distillery is located on the Kintyre peninsula, more precisely in Campbeltown. In 1832, the distillery was founded by Steward, Galbraith & Co. under the name Scotia Distillery and has since had a eventful history. 
With its lively backdrop and the rough Atlantic breeze, this coastal town has something magical about it. “Mull of Kintyre, oh mist rolling in from the sea, my desire is always to be here …” Paul McCartney sings of the wish to always stay on this peninsula. It is probably not only the mystical appeal of the landscape that is a good reason for this – but also the unique single malt produced here.
