Nose: Medjool dates, mocha, nutmeg, walnut, pistachio, heather, passion fruit.
Palate: Cinnamon, ginger, marzipan, butterscotch,
pumpernickel bread.
Finish: Aniseed, brandied cherries, rye toast, dark chocolate.

Glenallachie distillery, founded in 1967, is located in the small village of Aberlour at the
foot of Ben Rinnes. The first run began the following year. This 17-year-old whisky from the
Speyside distillery was fully matured in Refill Butts. Deliciously savoury with a hint of spice,
this bottling features notes of medjool dates, heather, rye toast and dark chocolate.
William Cadenhead’s Ltd, Wine and Spirits Merchants, is Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, founded in 1842, and since 1972 part of the renowned J & A Mitchell & Co. Ltd, the owner of Springbank and Glengyle Distillery. Cadenhead’s has made a famous name for itself with Single Cask and Small Batch bottlings of Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Rum, Cognac and Gin, and has always stood for the highest quality while pursuing the goal that “it’s what is inside the bottle that counts”.
