LA DOMA THE TAMING CASK
Over the next four years, four special limited editions will be released. The Heavenly Cask Collection was created to make the essence of Ron Zacapa 23 tangible. Each release honors one of the barrel types in which Ron Zacapa 23 matures. Additional aging masterfully highlights the exceptional flavor nuances that characterize each barrel.
LA DOMA'S SECRET: THE SPECIAL SECOND MATURATION
The first of the four limited editions, La Doma, is created using the solera process from a series of exquisite rums of different character, carefully selected by master blender Lorena Vásquez. The maturation takes place in ex-American whiskey barrels aged 6 to 24 years. Additional aging in ex-American whiskey barrels has a harmonizing effect on the flavor of La Doma.
DELICIOUS TASTE – EXOTIC ENJOYMENT
Fresh and honey-sweet sugarcane notes emerge alongside a tropical liveliness of pineapple and banana. On the palate, a fruity richness unfolds with a hint of vanilla.
RECOMMENDATION FOR ENJOYMENT
Serve neat, on ice, or for an extended tasting experience with a piece of fresh flambéed pineapple or banana. Zacapa La Doma is equally delightful with a piece of walnut or pineapple tart.
