Nose: : Irresistible aromas of peach, passion fruit, strawberry and mango with delicious notes of vanilla, toffee, spices and honey in the background.

Palate: Oily, round and smooth, very complex, exotic fruits combine with vinous notes and a hint of Rancio.

Finish:  Long, warm, intense, finishing with juicy lychee

Kavalan Solist Brandy Cask – German Selection by Schlumberger. Tropical maturity, German exclusivity – a solist with wanderlust. For the German Selection by Schlumberger series, we regularly select outstanding single casks from our partner distilleries, which are then bottled exclusively for the German market. With the Kavalan Solist Brandy Cask, we are now presenting another rarity from Taiwan – matured in an old brandy cask and bottled at cask strength. The island's humid, warm climate allows the whisky to mature around three times faster than comparable distillates in Scotland. The Angels’ Share is 10-12 %, and the aromas become correspondingly intense. The result is an intense, almost explosively aromatic single malt that harmoniously combines sweetness, fruit and elegance. 

The cask with the number Y170421035A was bottled at cask strength with 54,8 % vol. and is, of course, unfiltered and without the addition of colorants. From the 600 liter cask, 443 bottles of 0,7 liter could still be filled after just over 8 years.
