Nose  intense, cedarwood dried fruits, robust notes, perfectly matured sherry 

Palate mineral notes, grassy tones, tobacco,  roasted nuts, intense fruit.

Finish  coca leaves, ripe cherries,  very long on the tongue.

Following the great success of the CDI Guyana Enmore 29-year-old this year, Compagnie des Indes has secured an entire single cask from the legendary distillery, and it even reaches a full 30 years!

In 1988, when this rum  was distilled, there were still five years to go until the closure of the legendary Enmore Distillery – one of the last distilleries in Guyana at all. This bottle therefore contains not only a molasses distillate, but also a piece of contemporary history.

The intensely dark, reddish-brown color alone (which was of course not altered with caramel coloring) promises great things.
