The HD 2001 rum is a sister cask to the Hampden 2001, which was already bottled in August this year (Rum Club Ed. 17) and sold out completely nationwide within just a few days. The cask therefore differs slightly in taste, has 1,4 %vol. more alcohol, and was further rounded off considerably by the finish in the Hampden 1992 cask - the perfect rum for Christmas evenings by the fire. chr2026

A Jamaica rum from 2001 with the mark <>H from the Hampden Distillery. The rum first matured for 19 years in the classic way in an ex-bourbon cask and then received a finish for just under 5 months in the legendary Hampden1992 cask (Rum Club Ed. 18).
