Nose: Notes of gentle peat smoke, leather-bound books and sticky toffee pudding are present on the nose.
Finish ashy medicinal smoke, ginger, chocolate oranges.
The Work of Human Hands – Springbank and its sister distillery Kilkerran produce their single malts 100% by hand, traditionally and on site in Campbeltown. As a result of the original methods, only limited production capacity is available. Every Campbeltown single malt whisky from the Springbank family J. & A. Mitchell & Co. Ltd reveals its own style through different distillation stages and levels of smokiness. Kilkerran is a lightly peated, double-distilled single malt that is bottled without colouring or chill filtration.
