Since 2016, Luca Gargano, head of Velier, and Richard Seale, Master Distiller of the renowned Foursquare Distillery in Barbados, have been developing exclusive bottlings together. These extraordinary rum creations are available in limited editions, as is the tenth co-production by the two.   Foursquare Absolutio is a Single Blended Rum – the result of a blend of rums distilled both in a Column Coffey Still and in a Double Retort Pot Still. The final blend is also the result of two different maturation processes: on the one hand, a simple maturation of 15 years in bourbon casks and on the other hand, a double maturation in bourbon (ten years) and Port Casks (five years).   Bottled at a crisp cask strength of 62% vol., Absolutio stands out for its exotic character and full body. Only around 4,800 bottles are available in total.
