Richard Seale is CEO and Master Distiller of the Foursquare Distillery in the fourth generation and a renowned rum expert. Seale's family history with rum began in 1926, when Richard Seale's great-grandfather, Reginald Leon Seale, founded R.L. Seale and Company in Barbados. Over the years, the family business acquired various rum brands and eventually built its own distillery, "Foursquare." For the sixth time in a row, Foursquare was named Rum Producer of the Year at the ISC 2021. Richard Seale himself was also delighted to receive a special honor. He was awarded the Recognition Award as Master Blender. Richard Seale is therefore not only the great-grandson of the founder, but also one of the most innovative distillers and blenders. He is an advocate of unadulterated rum and a leading figure in the rum industry.
