Parallel maturation from a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask & a Marsala cask.
Nose beautiful balance: the opulent fruitiness and sweetness of the sherry cask, ripe pear, vanilla and butter cookies. Hints of smoked bacon. A splash of water brings out a touch of hazelnut and the scent of an autumn forest.
Palate remarkable but not overpowering sweetness, which blends harmoniously with gentle spice.
The long, juicy finish is defined by intense smokiness.
For the production of THE NINE SPRINGS Single Malt Whisky, the finest regional barley malts are used. Traditional fermentation and careful distillation produce a fine spirit of the highest quality.
