are known in the rum scene as a trailblazer for authentic experiences. Papalin is a project dedicated exclusively to rum blends. For maximum authenticity, the blends are created from various pot stills in close cooperation with local producers and mature tropically in the warehouses of the distilleries involved.

 Now the series returns with two five-year-old Jamaican high-ester rums. The Papalin 5 y.o. – 47% vol. is a smooth experience that combines vanilla and lemon with herbal notes, while pineapple, banana and a hint of licorice add depth. The overproof version, the Papalin 5 y.o. – 57 % vol., is rich and bold. Medicinal notes meet roasted pineapple, fresh herbs, ginger and full-bodied notes of rice here.

 Both qualities were blended from three rums: rum from Worthy Park (WPL marque) with an ester content of 60 to 120 g/hlpa, Long Pond rum (STCE marque) with an ester content of 550 to 700 g/hlpa, and rum from Hampden Estate (C<>H marque) with an ester content of 1,300 to 1,400 g/hlpa.
