The Plantation Single Cask Rums are limited editions of double-matured Haute Couture Rums. These fine drops first mature in former bourbon barrels in a tropical climate before receiving their finish in ex-Ferrand barrels made of French oak. This takes place in southwest France. Alexandre Gabriel, who was named the world's best master blender in 2012, always carefully selects the barrels for the final maturation. They were usually previously used to store wine, another type of spirit, or even beer. The type of barrel used is chosen individually depending on the rum to highlight its unique character. Only a few versions of Plantation rums are produced each year, making them true collector's items.
