Nose: Palate: Finish 

Raspberries, stewed plums, candied orange and maritime peat on the nose. Sultanas, ripe figs and cinnamon on the palate lead into a long and warming finish that has a delicate wisp of smoke.

For the first time, together with Ardnahoe, we present a Sherry Quarter Cask premiere and showcase two Sherry editions. The limited releases perfectly highlight the Islay peat and Sherry notes and bring to life a harmonious interplay of peat and PX sweetness as well as peat & Oloroso spice. We are receiving two Sherry new releases:
Edition No. 1: 100 % Oloroso Quarter Cask & Edition No. 2: 100 % PX Quarter Cask
“Càraid Ìleach” (Car – ich Ee – luch) is Scottish Gaelic and means “the Islay pair.” Under this name, the limited releases represent a world first: Sherry Quarter Cask expressions that matured exclusively in Sherry Quarter Casks. A rarity, as Quarter Cask full-cask maturations are only rarely presented.
