Nose: Palate: Finish 

Rich cacao, orange peel, dark cherries and campfire ash on the nose. Roasted walnuts, spiced fruitcake and nutmeg on the palate allow for a rich finish that leaves behind a hint of leather and Islay peat.

For the first time, together with Ardnahoe, we are presenting a Sherry Quarter Cask premiere and introducing two sherry editions. The limited releases perfectly showcase the Islay peat and sherry notes, bringing to life a harmonious interplay of peat and PX sweetness as well as peat & Oloroso spice. We have two new sherry releases:
 
Edition No. 1: 100 % Oloroso Quarter Cask & Edition No. 2: 100 % PX Quarter Cask
 
“Càraid Ìleach” (Car – ich Ee – luch) is Scottish Gaelic and means “the Islay pair.” Under this name, the limited releases represent a world first: Sherry Quarter Cask expressions that matured exclusively in sherry quarter casks. A rarity, as quarter cask full-cask maturation is only rarely presented.
