wab Springbank: The flagship is simply called Springbank - and is gladly referred to as "the Maritime" because of its legendary salty note. Lightly peated and distilled 2.5 times, this single malt was first bottled in 1828 and is now available in the age statements 10, 12, 15, 18, and 21 years. Each individual bottling is a unique taste experience: in the 10-year-aged edition, for example, the aroma plays with the flavor of sweet fruit and honey and varies it in an inimitable way with a fine peaty note. Perfectly balanced in flavor, with a deep yet unobtrusive malt nuance and an ever-present smoky note, this whisky has a long and elegant finish.  Cask Strength. Nose:  Earthy, mineral, salt, dried banana, granola, lemon zest, smoke

Palate:   Grapefruit syrup, orange pith, pomelo, white marshmallow
