Nose: Aromas of caramel apple mousse, chocolate, walnut-cinnamon rolls, and creamy popcorn. Alongside this are delicate nuances of dried mandarin peel and plums. The sweetness of toffee and black dates gives the nose a warm, inviting depth.

Palate: Rich citrus aromas of bergamot, lemon, orange, and grapefruit meet dried cranberries, raisins, and longan. These develop into velvety impressions of dark chocolate ice cream as well as caramel-walnut-coffee mousse. The overall impression is powerful, layered, and harmonious.

Finish: Warm and lingering, marked by woody spice notes with a subtle cinnamon accent.

The oldest Kavalan to date With Kavalan 15 Year Single Malt Whisky, the Taiwanese distillery - outside of Single Casks - presents a Single Malt of this age class for the first time. This bottling marks an important milestone for Kavalan and impressively underlines how controlled maturation under subtropical conditions can lead to exceptional depth and complexity. The 15-year-old Single Malt is a tribute to Taiwan's aromatic diversity. Matured in hand-selected ex-Bourbon, Oloroso sherry, Ruby port wine, and puncheon casks, the whisky is married in small batches to optimally balance harmony, structure, and expression. Despite its age, the style remains unmistakably Kavalan: powerful, fruit-forward, and at the same time elegantly balanced.
