Nose: Mild, dry, full-bodied. Fruits and malt, malt bread, sultanas, dates, dried figs. a light mineral hint of chalk, maritime notes of brine, salt crystals, ship's rail on the high seas,  slightly fruity, a hint of pipe tobacco.

Palate : creamy-soft, plenty of sweet  salty, smoky, fruity, sweet sultanas, figs  peppery spice, smokiness, intense, fruitier, ripe figs ( spicier when water is added. )

Finish: Long, warming, drying,  peppery, smoky-fruity.

As the first Talisker ever, this bottling received a finish in oak casks that previously held XO Cognac. Soft plum and raisin notes capture the wild, untamed power of the sea with unprecedented depth. This is followed by a full-bodied fruitiness, flanked by delicate sea salt and a hint of smoke and spice. Our mission is to save the wild nature of the oceans so that marine ecosystems can thrive naturally – and many generations to come can continue to enjoy them. In 2020, we teamed up with the non-profit environmental organization PARLEY FOR THE OCEANS, which shares our passion for the underwater world. Together, we aim to protect and restore 100 million square meters of natural ocean space. TALISKER WILDER SEAS is a tangible symbol of our commitment to preserving the underwater world. With €3 for every bottle produced, we support Parley in helping to protect our oceans. Because without the sea, there would be no Talisker.
