Nose A floral element, reminiscent of elderflower and heather, introduces this dram. There are notes of vanilla and custard creams and a confectionery note akin to foam bananas.
Finish The peat smoke lingers in the finish along with a digestive biscuit note.
The Work of Human Hands – Springbank and its sister distillery Kilkerran produce their single malts 100% by hand, traditionally and on site in Campbeltown. As a result of the original processes, only limited production capacities are available. Each Campbeltown Single Malt Whisky from the Springbank family J. & A. Mitchell & Co. Ltd reveals its own style through different distillation stages and levels of smoke intensity. Kilkerran is a lightly peated, twice-distilled single malt that is bottled without coloring or chill filtration.
