The 10 Year Old Cuvée Cask stands out with its raw cask finish and cask strength of 54,8% ABV. This Irish single malt was not chill-filtered and is available only in a limited edition. It embodies Bushmills' next big step - and was created in honor of all the pioneering giants and generations who once inhabited the unique surroundings from which this whiskey originates. After more than eight years of maturation in Oloroso sherry and bourbon whiskey casks, this exceptional whiskey was refined in rare cuvée casks. These French casks were previously used for the first fermentation of top-class sparkling wine. They impart notes of fresh lemon zest, sweet vanilla, and a delicate hint of oak. Where others might add only six months of cask maturation, Bushmills allowed this whiskey to mature for two additional years in the cuvée casks so it could develop its final flavor. This extra time gives the whiskey an unparalleled depth and harmony, bursting with citrus aromas, caramelized toffee, and layers of French oak. A sensational whiskey, surely one of the best Irish single malts and a true giant.

It represents the next bold step for Bushmills, one that honours the giants and generations before us and the incomparable natural landscape in which its forged. F I N I S H E D After maturing in oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels for over eight years, this exceptional whiskey was then finished in rare cuvée casks in the first fermentation of luxury sparkling wine. These French casks bring notes of fresh lemon zest, sweet vanilla and a delicate hint of oak. And where others might recask their whiskey for just six months or so, we’ve added deeper waves of flavour by maturing ours in these cuvée casks for a further two years. The extra years give an unrivalled depth and harmony, bursting with citrus aromas, caramelised toffee and layers of French oak. It’s a sensational whiskey that stands with the best of Irish single malt, a giant in its own right.
