Islay can be powerful - and surprisingly elegant. The Mac-Talla Cognac Cask - Friends of the Fèis 2026 combines delicately peated Islay single malt with the silky fruitiness of fine Cognac casks: first First-Fill Bourbon, then a 2-year finish in Cognac wood. On the nose, it has aromas of sweet almond croissants and orchard fruits - like a morning walk before the Atlantic air rolls in. On the palate follow freshly baked pastry, poached pears, warm pineapple, and toasted coconut. The finish provides the counterpoint: a hint of peat smoke and winter spices.
Bottled at 52.4% vol., non-chill filtered and without colouring - uncompromisingly authentic, yet seductively approachable. We have a total of 360 bottles available for Germany!

Mac-Talla Fèis Ìle 2025 presents this Islay single malt to celebrate Fèis Ìle 2025! This fascinating edition matured entirely in two Italian Amarone wine casks and was married for 24 months to create a whisky with aromas of red fruit, tannic oak, and maritime peat smoke.

Mac-Talla, which means "echo" in Scottish Gaelic, perfectly reflects the Morrison family's connection to Islay, to which they repeatedly travel to the famous whisky island.
