Nose: Palate: Finish:
Warming peat smoke weaves through crisp green apple and grilled pineapple, giving way to indulgent notes of creamy vanilla and melted brown sugar. A burst of zesty lemon softens into coastal minerality, layered with sea-salted caramel and lingering smoky embers. This release marks the first in our Campbeltown Saga series, a journey into the storied whisky heritage of the 'Wee Toon'.
The “Campbeltown Saga” series represents the rich heritage of the Victorian whisky capital of Campbeltown, celebrating this vibrant history and bringing the historic harbor town to life through the rarest and most exceptional stocks.
Together with Master Distiller Iain McAllister, we had the privilege of creating this exclusive series and, with the first edition Whiskyopolis, honoring the rare peated single malt that recalls the golden era of Campbeltown whisky production. Here, Iain McAlister selected only the rare medium-peated first-fill bourbon casks, from which peated spirit is produced only 1 month per year.

Glen Scotia Distillery embodies the unmistakable spirit of the Victorian whisky capital of Campbeltown. tells a story along the coast of Kintyre, especially during the whisky boom of the 1800s. A floral and delicate pleasure, as extraordinary as the legends that shape the region. On the Kintyre peninsula, more precisely in Campbeltown, the Glen Scotia distillery is located. In 1832, the distillery was founded by Steward, Galbraith & Co. under the name Scotia Distillery and has had an eventful history ever since.
With its vibrant setting and the rugged Atlantic breeze, this coastal town has something magical about it. “Mull of Kintyre, oh mist rolling in from the sea, my desire is always to be here …” Paul McCartney sings of the desire to always remain on this peninsula. Presumably, it is not only the mystical allure of the landscape that is a good reason for this – but also the unique single malt produced here.
