Fettercairn, from the Speyside region, is now one of Scotland's oldest licensed distilleries. Fettercairn Vintage 2008 welcomes us with aromas of candied fruit, vanilla, and intense sweetness. The finish is very long-lasting with a warm and spicy finish. Distilled in July 2006, the malt matured for 15 years in an American oak barrel. Bottled in March 2024 and limited to 202 bottles worldwide, an exceptional single cask.

Laing and his sons Scott and Andrew buy only the highest-quality casks from Scotland's most sought-after distilleries and have them matured and bottled according to their own ideas: because each cask has its very own character, giving the bottled Scotch whiskies a unique taste and the connoisseur a special tasting experience. Based on decades of experience, the Master Blender, with the support of the tasting panel, samples dozens of casks from Hunter Laing's warehouses and selects just a few each month that are at the peak of maturation.
