Nose: light sweetness, notes of banana, pineapple and esters, mango, a little citrus fruit and a nice spice.   

Palate: full-bodied, mineral notes, vanilla and toasted oak.

Finish:  burnt sugar, strong ester notes and lots of fruit.


The Long Pond Distillery has a long and storied history dating back to 1753, before it was temporarily closed in 2012. After four years of closure, Long Pond Distillery Limited in Clark‘s Town, Trelawny, resumed operations on 26 July 2017. Right after pouring, we have a still sealed rum in the glass with a light sweetness, notes of banana, pineapple and esters. After some time, the previously mentioned aromas are still present. They are joined by mango, a little citrus fruit and a nice spice. The full-bodied flavor is complemented by mineral notes, vanilla and toasted oak. In the long finish, we taste burnt sugar, strong ester notes and lots of fruit.
