Nose: delicately sweet sherry note, warmth. Light estery note, lots of fruit, raisin, dried apricot. Sherry notes,  fine woody nuances, fruity banana, apricots, maple syrup. 

Palate: very powerful, present, delicate sweetness, sherry notes, Jamaican fruit and oak notes 

Finish: warm, medium-long wood, fruit, spices

JAMAICA RUM 2007 The Double Aged Rum is emblematic of the connection between Caribbean lifestyle and Spanish tradition. Stored for the first 11 years in Jamaica's tropical climate, it then spent just under six years finishing in Pedro Ximinez sherry casks and has 
retained its Jamaican characteristics. Immediately after pouring, a delicately sweet sherry note rises, surrounded by a pleasant warmth. This is followed by a light estery note with lots of fruit, a little raisin and dried apricot. After some time in the glass – and it does not need as long as other single cask bottlings  the sherry notes combine with fine woody nuances, surrounded by fruity banana, apricots and a little maple syrup. On the palate it is very powerful and present
without being overwhelming. There is a delicate sweetness with present sherry notes, and the rum flavor is not displaced. Jamaican fruit and oak notes find their place, and no spice comes to the fore. The rum finishes with a warm, medium-long aftertaste of wood, fruit and spice aromas.
