- From Barley to Bottle. The New Limited Age Statements of Islay! From Islay, the world-famous whisky region, we receive two exclusive rarities from Kilchoman and Scarabus. The farm distillery Kilchoman presents its first limited edition of the year – Kilchoman 13 Years. To mark its 20th anniversary, the distillery is releasing special bottlings, including Kilchoman 13 Years, which matured in a rare cask combination of Bourbon, octave, and Calvados casks and was bottled at 50% vol. A very special release for Kilchoman, as the distillery only rarely publishes age-statement bottlings. Scarabus – the mystical single malt from Islay – presents its oldest bottling to date, Scarabus 30 Years and fascinates with maritime notes, characteristic Islay peat, and a long-lasting smooth finish. 

13 years; matured in a combination of Bourbon casks, octave casks, and Calvados casks.  Kilchoman is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and presents as an anniversary edition Kilchoman 13 Years. 

The cask composition of octave and Calvados casks provides juicy fruit and intense sweetness, fresh fruits, and Kilchoman's characteristically maritime peat smoke. The limited edition is strictly limited, similar to Kilchoman 16 Years, and is expected to be available from mid-February at a fair price.
