Limited to 3600 bottles

Nose: A powerful Sherry influence with raisins, dates, and dark dried fruit, along with orange peel, toffee, nuts, and warm spices.

Palate: Full-bodied and rounded, shaped by Oloroso sweetness, dark chocolate, caramelized fruit, a little malt, and spicy oak.

Finish: Medium-long to long, pleasantly warming with Sherry fruit sweetness, cocoa, nuttiness, and increasingly dry oak spice.

Glenfarclas Easter Malt, alongside the significantly higher 1st Fill Sherry share, comes with the newly introduced yeast.  After the great success of the new series of Glenfarclas Easter Editions, we were treated yesterday to a very special release: the Glenfarclas Easter Edition Vintage 2016 – marked by a pronounced share of 1st Fill Sherry Casks, which provide more intense Sherry aromas and depth.

Matured behind the iconic red gates of the venerable dunnage warehouses, a premium Single Malt Scotch Whisky awaits you with expressive notes of dark chocolate in the foreground, accompanied by intensely pronounced Sherry aromas.

The Glenfarclas Distillery is one of Scotland's best-known distilleries: 100% Sherry cask maturation, direct fired stills, Dunnage . The distillery stands for tradition and history – and has done so officially for 185 years. Now the Glenfarclas Distillery presents its 185th Anniversary Edition. You can expect a special release from a wide variety of decades that skillfully reflects the distillery's history.
