This private original bottling is limited to 300 bottles and comes not only in the iconic bottle design but also in an elegant gift box. The whisky matured in a Bourbon Hogshead and was bottled at the natural cask strength of 50,1% alcohol, with no chill filtration and no added coloring

Selected in collaboration with Distillery Manager Stewart Bowman. The third chapter in the Single Cask series between Bremer Spirituosen Contor and Arran Distillery at the foot of the village of Lochranza.

When selecting the cask, the unadulterated distillery character, the aromas of juicy and ripe fruits, and the typical notes of vanilla and honey were particularly convincing. Despite the high alcohol strength, this whisky is a real delight on the palate with creamy-spicy notes and an exciting beeswax note. As a result, this Arran bottling carries the typical DNA of the island distillery while still having its very own individual character.

The Arran Single Malt was distilled twice and matured in ex-bourbon casks for perfect harmony. The result is a full-bodied, powerful whisky with a wonderfully sweet-fruity character that tastes much more mature than it actually is. Distillation was carried out using traditional methods in washbacks and copper stills tailored precisely to these needs. The single malt whisky was not chill-filtered and no caramel was added, so it contains no artificial coloring. This means it is completely natural and exactly as a whisky should be!

The island of Arran is both breathtakingly beautiful and unique. With its mountains, lowlands, glens, lakes, and royal castles, it embodies the entire landscape of Scotland and is affectionately  called "Scotland in miniature" .

The Isle of Arran distillery was built in 1 994 at the foot of the village of Lochranza. On June 29, 1 995, the first spirit flowed from the stills, bringing legal distillation back to Arran after more than 150 years. This distillery was the first in a new generation of distilleries in the 90s. Since that day in June 1 995, when the first cask was filled, Arran has been producing first-class unpeated single malt whisky that has gained international recognition through numerous gold medals.

The latest chapter in their whisky history on the island began in June 2019, when their second distillery in Lagg in the south of Arran opened its doors to the public and began producing heavily peated whisky in the style typical of Arran. Almost 25 years after the whisky distillery in Lochranza began operations, Isle of Arran Distillers are now the proud owners and operators of two very different and unique distilleries on the island of Arran.
