Nose: Complex, herbal, fruitcake, pear, heather honey.

Palate: Sweet, peppery, spicy oak

Finish: Long-lasting with chili spice and pepper.

Second maturation in Pedro Ximenéz- & Oloroso sherry casks.

Elusive Expressions

According to legend, Clynelish was once struck by an epic snowstorm that was going to ruin the precious casks. Their contents froze until a mysterious cat-like creature suddenly appeared. Defying the icy temperatures, it turned its golden eyes on the casks and wrapped them in warmth. The saved oak transformed and was forever protected from the cold.

An unusual Clynelish with just a slight trace of waxiness and added sweetness and spiciness from a maturation in refill American Oak, then finished in PX/Oloroso seasoned casks
