Color: The beautiful, dark color comes in part from the coloring added directly to the casks after distillation.
Nose: Aromatically, Bellamy's Reserve Rum reveals a complex combination of notes of bitter orange, tobacco, wood, dark berries, butterscotch, raisins, as well as a little dark chocolate and a hint of allspice.
Palate: On the palate, the impressions from the bouquet repeat themselves, with amazingly soft mouthfeel and a fine sweetness.
Finish: The spirit lingers medium-long and dry.
