Storage in the cask, in which the French fine dessert wine had previously matured, gives the rum a delicate sweetness and lots of fruit. The rum exudes subtle notes of sugar cane, wine, and fruit. A pleasant sweetness coats the tongue, followed by aromas of wood and festive spices such as cloves. Its finish is subtle and medium-long.
