Nose: red fruits, oak wood typical notes of South American rum. 

Palate then fruity notes that reveal themselves as red wine. 

is a blend of different 5-year-old rums from South America, distilled using both pot still and column still methods.  After the 5-year maturation phase in ex-bourbon barrels, the blend was finished in Berlin in an old Zweigelt red wine cask. A bold undertaking, because no one can guarantee that such an experiment will deliver the desired effect. After six months in the barrel, however, the rum changed extremely positively, in aroma and taste. The alcohol was perfectly integrated and the sweet wine aromas came through well without overpowering its character, so just perfect!

Many first-time tasters are immediately delighted, even if they could not name the distinctive note. The red wine cask was filled with wine only once, so it was still quite fresh and has thus given the rum lovely aromas. Light roasted notes, with hints of vanilla, red fruit compote, and caramelized sugar create an exciting interplay of flavors on the tongue and palate. The 46,1% alcohol strength carries the aromas wonderfully into a flavor experience unlike anything you have experienced before. Although the rum is unsweetened and has a natural sweetness of only 4.6 g sugar, it is very pleasant to drink. rum Club Selection
