Nose: Initially very fruity with aromas of mangoes, citrus fruits, and quinces, which are complemented over time by acacia honey and vanilla.

Palate: Rich and complex, the palate follows the nose with pineapple and peaches, beeswax, toasted almonds and butter, along with a spicy hint of ginger and cloves.

The Plantation Single Cask Rums are limited editions of double-aged Haute Couture rums. The fine spirits are first matured in former bourbon barrels in a tropical climate, before receiving their finish in ex-Ferrand casks made from French oak. This takes place in the southwest of France. Alexandre Gabriel, who was awarded the title of world's best Master Blender in 2012, always carefully selects the casks for the secondary maturation. In most cases, they previously held wine, another type of spirit, or even beer. The type of cask used is chosen individually for each rum in order to highlight its unique character. Only a few versions of Plantation rums are produced each year, making them true collector's items.
