with the Signature Edition Eleven, the focus is on the unique reflux condenser in the Lyne Arm in the Spirit Pot Still. This refers to a cooling coil installed in the slightly rising copper pipe just before the condenser. As cooling water flows through the reflux condenser, the rising vapors are condensed before they reach the actual cooler, flow back into the still, and are thus distilled. With the help of this additional cooling system, the return flow, also known as reflux, can be precisely varied, which in turn has a decisive influence on the spirit. Although peated malt from Scotland with 54 ppm was used, the Signature Edition Eleven is only softly smoky at maximum reflux. Thanks to the maturation in ex-Tennessee whiskey barrels from Jack Daniel’s, this single malt presents itself with a

mild fruity sweetness of vanilla, fresh citrus notes and grilled apricots, garnished with a fine oak spice and rounded off with subtle dry ash components. Everything perfectly wrapped in mild, warming peat smoke and bottled at the optimal drinking strength of 46,2 Vol.-% alcohol.
