Jamaica, a country whose name is derived from the indigenous language family and means land of springs, or land of wood and water. A small country with an area of 10.991 km², yet one that produces some of the best rums in the world. For us in Germany, it is basically the rum country par excellence. This rum, distilled in 2009, has a subtle nose at first, with the almost 65% vol. very well integrated.

Nose:  fine sweet fruitiness, with aromas of lychee, a little mango, banana chips and a touch of oak. It comes across as very complex and powerful,

Palate: spicy notes, anise, wood and a slight bitterness. 

Finish:  long, with a lovely woody note and a fine spiciness.
